At Room2U, our mission is to provide an alternative option to alleviate the rental crisis. Our portable tiny homes on wheels are available for hire and placement on your own property. Think of it as having your own granny flat, without the hassle of council consents or the commitment to a permanent structure. These homes can be set up and taken down in a matter of hours, offering convenience and flexibility.
We have found our service to be incredibly useful for many reasons:
Importantly: Please ensure you have clearance from the street to where you want the room to be located has a 3 meter width and 3.3 meter height. Before proceeding ensure you have checked this.
Minimum 3-Month Contract: You have the flexibility to stay as long as you need, with a minimum 3-month contract. Notice Period: When you're ready to have the room picked up, simply provide us with 14 days' written notice.
Legal Compliance: Council legislation surrounding on-site caravans, caravans on private property or in a backyard will vary from state to state. In New South Wales, state-wide legislation allows a caravan to be used for permanent habitation, provided that the person using the caravan is a member of the owner's household.
